Our real starting prices, how fixed-scope pricing works, and what changes the number.
At AI Consulting NYC, a Workflow Audit starts at $1,000 (1 to 3 weeks), a Build Sprint starts at $3,000 (3 to 6+ weeks, most live in 21 days), and Ongoing Advisory starts at $2,000 and is optional and cancelable. These are starting prices. The final price is a fixed-scope flat price, quoted after a free 30-minute strategy session, so you know the full cost before any build work begins.
The three starting prices
Phase 1
1 to 3 weeks. We map where your team's hours go and rank automation opportunities by payback. You get a roadmap, not a deck.
Phase 2
3 to 6+ weeks, with most live in 21 days. We build the automations, wire them into your existing tools and train your team.
Phase 3
Optional and cancelable. New workflows, new tools and new training, only if you want it.
Fixed scope
Common models are hourly, monthly retainer or fixed-scope project, as covered in what an AI consultant does. We use fixed scope: the price and deliverable are agreed before work starts, so the incentive is to ship rather than stretch the clock. There are no retainer traps, and every phase has a defined scope and end date.
We do not publish a market average because we have no reliable current source to cite, and we would rather show you our own prices than guess at others.

Scope
One workflow costs less to build than several. The audit helps you choose where to start.
Integrations
Your inbox, CRM and calendar all need wiring. More systems means more work.
Review needs
Workflows with confirmation steps and careful testing take more design.
Training
Training a whole office takes longer than training two people.
Included or not
Included in the scoped price: the audit or build work agreed in writing, integration with the tools you already use, and training so your team can run it. We are vendor-neutral and work with Claude, OpenAI, n8n, Zapier and Make, and we never resell subscriptions.
Not included: ongoing advisory unless you choose it, and any tool subscriptions you hold with software providers.
